My favorite holiday is Christmas because,
...of the anticipation you feel as the boxes pile high,
...the wondering of what you are getting,
...the wanting to open those presents,
...and finally opening those presents on Christmas morn,
...the fellings of great happiness,
because you got what you wanted,
...or great saddness ,
because you didn't get what you wanted,
...the smells of freshly baked gingerbread,
...the taste of hot cocoa with melting marshmallows,
..the smell of pine wafting through the halls,
from the beautiful, green, christmas tree in the main room,
...of the christmas carolers singing,
"we wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year,"
...the feeling of the Christmas cheer,
and the best part of christmas is that we have NO SCHOOL!!!
