A continuation of Chinese level 1A that covers another 300
compounds and 100 characters. More grammar and sentence patterns are introduced
in order to accelerate the student's speaking and writing proficiency. More Chinese
and characters are used in and out of the classroom to enhance the student's confidence
in using as much Chinese as possible. Calligraphy is also taught from the beginning
of this level and short stories are assigned as outside readings toward the end
of the sequence.
