Assignment

Biological floc forms in the aeration tanks which will eventually settle in the final clarifiers to be recycled. The age of the sludge is monitored and is, on the average, 7 days old.

The MLSS is leaving the aeration basin and will next go to the secondary clarifier (also known as final settling).
