Assignment

This is a filtering tank which receives about 35% of the water from the clarifiers. The water is filtered through anthracite, coal, and sand.

This filtered water is receiving tertiary water treatment and is clean enough to be used for nonpotable (non-drinkable) purposes like irrigation.

The filtered water is next sent to the reuse tanks.
