Thank you: Without You I Would Not Exist

 

For all the times you have gently tucked me into bed,

for your sweet voice in the morning that taps my shoulder to awake me,

for the bread that you bake that always smells so good,

for always cutting off the crust, just the way I like it,

for the kissses, " I love you" 's, and "goodbye" 's that you give me as I rush off to school,

for your germ-stopping chicken soup when I am sick,

for the patience that you have while teaching me to wrap gyoza ,

for putting my fake eyelashes on me before a dance performance,

I am a dancer and you are the song that I dance to ,

you are the melody that I preform to every-day,

and without you I would not exist.
