Mom, I cannot thank you enough

For taking care of me like no other

Like cooking dinner

Every time I walk in the house there is a

Heaping plate of delicious food on the table

Waiting to be devoured

By your hungry and growing son.

 

Mom, I cannot thank you enough

For supporting my educational needs

By sending me to a great school

To ensure I get the education needed in life

You make sure I get there in time

And always have time to check my homework

 

Mom, I cannot thank you enough

For supporting me in sports

You try your best to make it to every game

You cheer me on as loud as you can

And cook delicious potlucks for me and my teammates

 

Mom, I know that you will be there for me

As I continue my to grow into an adult

You were there for the first twelve years of my life

And I thank you very much for making it enjoyable as possible

Whether it is cheering me on

Or supporting me in whatever I do

I know that you will always be my loving mother
