College
When I am in college,

I will dress in an

unembellished and dull sweatshirt

over faded, worn capris.

I will carefully plan out my mornings to consist of

waking late, a few classes, and long, unproductive breaks.

When night finally appears,

I will drive through the town

searching for flashy clubs to gig

or dance the night away with friends.

There will be no chains to bind me

nor ropes to hold me back.

It will be as if my life has been brought to huge field

and I am free to zoom fast or wander slowly through the grass as I please.

I dream of this future, to have freedom,

but the road before me still has its twists and turns.
