The Year 2000 Keables Fortnight presents a team of three actors from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival

A faculty tea to welcome the Shakespearean actors on January 24 began the fortnight's activities.

The guests will present an evening performance on Friday, January 28, to commemorate Mr. Keables' 100th birthday.

Student performances, a Shakespeare recitation contest, lower school puppetry, song, dance, activities and demonstrations from across all grade levels and disciplines will create a Renaissance festival atmosphere on campus.

The acting of Shakespeare will be supplemented by a wide variety of actitives ranging from puppet making and strolling minstrels to sonnet writing and the creation of student plays.
