Arthur is certain to be a great king. Today I saw him stop a fight between two young village boys up in the hills. Two young boys were fighting over who won the game of chess. At first it was only calling each other names like pigheaded and dumb. Then action was brought between the two boys. "I won the game! I made the last move on your king with my knight," one boy said.
"Not! I took your king with my queen. You took my knight instead of my king," the other boy said.
At first there was only pushing, but then the rest of the crowd started yelling, "Fight, fight, fight!" They slapped and punched each other like they were little sisters fighting over each other's dolls. Once Arthur heard the word fight repetitively, he jumped in and told the two boys that fighting is not the solution to problems, but compromising and thinking of another way like playing chess again. Two friends don't fist fight with one another.
"Try playing chess again and see who wins this time. Don't fight anymore, okay lads?" Arthur said.
Arthur stopped the fight between two young boys. His leadership from this fight caused others to compromise instead of fight. He even showed courage to the kids by stepping into a fight and saying something before someone got hurt. Many little ones look up to Arthur as a role model and a courageous leader.
