"Skittles"
In the medieval times game players were very popular. Most game players were peasants, but some were nobles. The game that I will demonstrate at the medieval faire is skittles or lawn bowling. There were two types of skittles. In the first type of skittles you would roll a ball and try to hit the other nine balls scattered around the field. In the second type of skittles, a person tries to hit down all of the nine pins. These nine pins were set up in a square shape. Every turn you would get three balls. If you hit all of the pins down in either the first or second turn you would be able to reset all of the pins. A leg is another word for turn. If you were playing with more than twenty players you would play up to five or ten legs. In order to win a leg you would have to beat all of the opponents. The maximum points you can score in a single turn is twenty-seven. So this is how you play skittles or lawn bowling.
