Thank you Lord

You have saved me from war

And misery

I am grateful that you have

Saved my life

Before the war I didn't care

I took life for granted

I didn't deserve to live

But this war opened my eyes

I am inspired greatly

I am overjoyed

I am no longer afraid

Or frightened

But I'm thankful

Life is better now

It's more precious to me

Everytime I eat

I am thankful

Every minute I breathe

I am thankful

Everyday I live

I am thankful
