Honolulu (October 20, 2001) -- The girls competed in their 3rd race. This week was a combined sprint and distance meet. Iolani selected 10 girls to race distance and 12 to race sprints. Each girl worked hard and improved their times from previous meets. Finally, the top four sprinters and the top four distance racers were accounted for in the total score. The girls came up a little short of 1st place, losing to Kamehameha only by 4 points and beating Punahou by 3 points. MORE
