Purpose Statement

From the depths of defeat to the highest peak of victory We, as a team, will accurately reflect the second half of Iolani, beyond academics; to allow the world to see Iolani's sports achievements. Through our writing, photographs and statistics, We will be the voice of those who do not have a chance to be heard.

Serve
It is not an obligation, but a privilege to be a voice for the many who otherwise do not have a chance to be heard.

Sacrifice
Everything at the start of a great voyage is free. The voyage itself, however, will cost you much. If those on the fields and courts can pay the price, will you, as well?

Support
Under every great undertaking, there are those who are boulders of stability and those who are pebbles that wash away with the slightest ripple in the water. Are you a boulder or a pebble?

Succeed
When you have served, sacrificed and supported, the wave of success is close behind. A heart that fully serves, sacrifices and supports cannot be measured in numbers. By executing the team plan to the fullest, a heart of success gives only the very best effort, and there is no measurement for that.
