The Hawaii Boys Volleyball Invitational Tournament will be presented on center court of two gymnasiums on
the grounds of Iolani School. The Father Bray Gym (more commonly known as the Upper Gym) is located
on the second floor of Iolani's athletic facilities. Bleachers for spectator seating is available on
one side of the gym.
Iolani's Lower Gym is located on the ground level of the athletic facilities adjacent to the school's
swimming pool. The gym has bleachers on both sides. This is one of the few air-conditioned high school
gymnasiums in the state of Hawaii.
The gyms are part of the Father Kenneth A. Bray Athletic Complex. The complex is named after the late
Father Kenneth A. Bray who founded the athletic program at Iolani School. He was Iolani's legendary
football, basketball and baseball coach from 1932 to 1953. Iolani's "One Team" concept originated with
Father Bray, establishing a tradition for modesty, sportsmanship and unity in athletics that is still
practiced today.
